Exciting and fast-paced Eastern Washington law firm seeking a general practice attorney to serve our community. The ideal candidate will have experience in family law, estate planning and probates, personal injury, real property disputes, and/or criminal defense with motions and trial experience. Should be competent to handle all phases of case from “cradle to grave.” Spanish speaker a plus. This is a remote position except when in-person court attendance is required. The firm offers base salary of $115,000—$175,000 DOE, performance bonuses, and paid vacations.

Our artistic waterfront office is 15 minutes from Lake Chelan, 40 minutes from the ski hill, and 5 minutes from the mountains. We are accepting remote applicants, with the understanding that the attorney will attend court in person when required, and meet clients in person when necessary.

Duties:

• Represent clients in legal proceedings, including court appearances and negotiations.
\n
• Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to support case strategies.
\n
• Draft and review legal documents such as contracts, pleadings, and motions.
\n
• Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients in various legal matters.
\n
• Provide legal advice and guidance to clients regarding their rights and options.
\n
• Maintain organized case files and ensure all documentation is up-to-date.
\n
• Collaborate with other attorneys and legal staff to ensure comprehensive case management.
\n
• Stay informed about changes in laws and regulations relevant to practice areas.
\n

Requirements:

\n
• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
\n
• Active license to practice law in the relevant jurisdiction.
\n

\n
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective client interactions and legal documentation.
\n
• Ability to litigate cases confidently in court settings.
\n
• Experience with legal administrative tasks is a plus.
\n
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail for thorough case preparation.
\n
