Opportunity Overview:

R. Thimesch Construction is seeking hardworking, dependable Concrete Laborers to join an in person construction team in Spivey, Kansas. This is an excellent opportunity for concrete workers, construction laborers, concrete finishers, and paving laborers who take pride in hands on work and want to contribute to durable commercial, civil, residential, and general construction projects. Earn a competitive hourly wage of $21 to $32 while building valuable field experience alongside a crew focused on quality concrete placement, finishing, and site productivity.

What You Will Do:

• Assist with concrete forming, placement, pouring, spreading, and finishing for reinforced concrete and general construction projects.
• Operate and support the safe use of skid loaders, power trowels, hand tools, and other equipment used in concrete.
• Help prepare job sites by moving materials, setting forms, cleaning work areas, and supporting efficient daily crew operations.
• Read and follow construction drawings, blueprints, layout information, and supervisor direction to deliver accurate results.
• Contribute to a safety minded work environment by following jobsite procedures and maintaining a reliable, team first approach.

What You Will Bring:

• You bring practical experience with concrete work, including forming, placement, finishing, or related construction labor duties.
• You can safely operate, or are prepared to learn to operate, skid loaders and power trowels in an active jobsite environment.
• You are physically prepared for outdoor, hands on work that may include lifting, standing, bending, and working around construction materials and equipment.
• You can understand basic blueprints and construction drawings and use them to support accurate work in the field.
• You are dependable, safety conscious, and committed to showing up ready to support the crew and project schedule.

Preferred Experience:

• Experience in commercial construction, civil construction, or residential construction will help you make an immediate impact.
• Familiarity with reinforced concrete, concrete design, take offs, submittals, or structural steel framework is valued.
• Previous experience as a concrete finisher, concrete laborer, construction worker, paving laborer, or equipment operator is a strong advantage.

Pay and Benefits:

• This position pays $21 to $32 per hour, based on relevant skills and experience.
