To ensure security design thinking is integrated into every major technology decision, the full-time remote Director of Information Security will manage the security program roadmap, oversee security architecture, and drive cross-functional coordination while maintaining compliance and continuous improvement. Key responsibilities Own the security program roadmap, monitor progress, and escalate issues to the CISO with actionable recommendations Serve as the embedded security architect, ensuring security design principles are applied in technology decisions Coordinate security engagement across modernization programs and manage compliance with regulatory deadlines Required qualifications Seven or more years in technology leadership, security program management, or security architecture Experience managing complex, cross-functional programs with a small team Familiarity with security program governance, vendor management, and budget operations Working knowledge of security frameworks such as NIST CSF and ISO 27001 Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, Business, or a related field
