About the Role
The Company is seeking an inaugural Head of Research and Learning for Sciences and Social Sciences. This pivotal leadership role is focused on advancing the company's deep engagement with research, teaching, and learning in these disciplines. The successful candidate will provide strategic direction for a dedicated liaison librarian team, strengthen the company's role in the academic community, and enhance library integration into the curriculum and student success. This role is essential for positioning the company as an indispensable engine for academic excellence in the sciences and social sciences, both within the institution and beyond. The Head will also be involved in shaping the future of academic librarianship and must be prepared to support the company's mission with occasional evening and weekend availability, as well as some travel for professional development and conference participation.
