Our aim is to tackle social inequality by enabling individuals and communities to thrive and our customer team is at the heart of what we do. Working with our customers really does change people’s lives and if you want to make a difference Plus Dane is the place to be! We live by our values of working together, achieving for our customers, taking ownership, and having the opportunity to learn and grow. About the Role: We’re looking for a skilled and motivated Plasterer to join our Cheshire team and help us deliver high-quality repairs and planned works across our properties. You’ll be responsible for: Carrying out plastering to walls, ceilings, coving, and damp-related works using a variety of finishes. Supporting other trades, handling materials, and working on both occupied and empty properties. Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard, safely, and in line with health and safety regulations. Maintaining accurate records using our digital systems and keeping your van stock and tools in top condition. You’ll work both independently and as part of a small, supportive team, with a strong focus on customer service and professionalism. What You’ll Bring NVQ Level 2 in Plastering or equivalent qualification. Experience in responsive repairs, void maintenance and planned building maintenance. Strong understanding of health and safety, IT systems, and customer service. Full UK driving licence. Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication skills. Experience working in social housing or similar environments is beneficial. Previous tiling experience would be desirable. Please note that this role requires travel between properties using a company vehicle, so a valid driving licence is essential. If you receive an offer, you will be asked to provide evidence of your qualifications—like original certificates—as part of the onboarding process before your appointment is confirmed. What you’ll get in return: This is a permanent role working 35 hours per week. You will be working across various locations in Cheshire. You’ll be generously rewarded with a competitive salary and a great benefits package, including 35 days’ annual leave, plus bank holidays. This includes a 3-day Christmas closedown between Christmas and New Year, and you have the option to buy up to 5 extra days annually. You’ll also benefit from a company pension scheme where we contribute 10% (from April), and colleagues can contribute anything from 3% upwards. We’re committed to our people’s wellbeing, supported by an excellent management team, wellbeing champions, and mental health first aiders. We actively encourage personal development, with plenty of opportunities to progress your career and access ongoing training, including formal qualifications. We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and vulnerable adults and expect all staff to share this commitment. If you need any adjustments to apply or attend an interview, please let us know. Ready to make an impact? If you’re passionate about your craft and want to be part of a team that values quality, customer care, and community — this is your chance to make a difference.
