Position Overview: We're seeking enthusiastic, reliable Substitute Teachers to provide high-quality care and education when our regular teachers are unavailable. Substitute Teachers play a crucial role in maintaining a safe, engaging, and joyful learning experience for our children. Responsibilities: Provide supervision and care for children aged 3-5 in outdoor environments. Support daily routines and activities including play-based learning, snack times, and basic hygiene. Foster a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning atmosphere. Follow established guidelines, policies, and safety protocols. Communicate effectively with children, staff, and families. Qualifications: Must be at least 18 years old. Ability to pass DCYF Portable Background Check and fingerprinting. Proof of negative TB test and MMR vaccination/immunity. CPR/First Aid certification (or ability to obtain shortly after hire). Reliable, flexible, and punctual. Previous experience with young children preferred but not required.
