By joining our network, you gain access to opportunities tailored to your goals.Usual ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with engineers and production staff to resolve tooling issues.Document work and maintain accurate records.Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, and engineering drawings.Set up and operate manual and CNC machine tools.Fabricate, modify, and repair tools, dies, jigs, and fixtures.Perform precision measurements using calipers, micrometers, and gauges.Conduct test runs and adjust tools to meet specifications.Maintain tooling inventory and perform routine maintenance.Recommended QualificationsAbility to work independently and as part of a team.Attention to detail and commitment to quality.High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a tool and die apprenticeship or technical program.Proficiency in reading blueprints and using precision measurement tools.Experience with manual lathes, mills, grinders, and CNC equipment.Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.Bonus QualificationsJourneyman tool maker certification.Experience with CAD/CAM software.Knowledge of die maintenance and repair.Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles.Welding and fabrication skills.Job Titles That Should ApplyTool and Die Maker, Toolmaker, Die Maker, Jig and Fixture Builder, Machine Tool Operator, CNC Tool Maker, Tool Room Machinist, Precision Machinist, Tooling Technician, Manufacturing TechnicianWork AuthorizationApplicants must be authorized to work in the U.S. without current or future visa sponsorship.
