Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: PreOp Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 10 hours Experience: 3 years in nursing License: Active RN Licensure in California Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS (required prior to start) Must-Have: - Ambulatory surgery/phase II experience within the past 2 years - EPIC experience Description: Performs routine assignments and develops competence by executing structured work assignments. Accountable for the assessment, coordination, delivery, and evaluation of nursing care. Includes direct patient care, patient/family education, and transitions of care. Delivers holistic and individualized care to all patients in assigned area. Develops, implements, and manages an optimal interdisciplinary plan of care. Incorporates psychological, sociocultural, spiritual, economic, and lifestyle factors. Fosters and maintains collaborative relationships between patients and their family/support group. Ensures effective communication with physicians and other healthcare providers.
